Hoi An was one of our favorite destinations in Vietnam. There are plenty of accommodation options in this ancient town, from luxury beach and riverfront resorts to affordable homestays and guesthouses. We have chosen to stay at Hoa Vang Riverside Villa as it is located in a very quiet area next to the river and at the same time is just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Hoi An’s old town. Our Room
We booked the Deluxe Double Room which included breakfast. However, at the time of arrival we got an upgrade to Junior Suite with Garden View completely free and the room given to us was much larger than expected.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was lovely, cozy and nice designed. Hotel room was the cleanest we've had so far in Vietnam.
The bed was extra comfy.

Breakfast
For the breakfast at Hoa Vang Riverside Villa you get a large selection of different foods to choose from. You need to order breakfast the day before and they cook it for you as soon as you show up at the breakfast table, assuring that the meal is hot when you get it. We’ve ordered omelet and mango smoothie which was really delicious.
Location of Hoa Vang Riverside Villa
Hoa Vang Riverside Villa is situated in a unique location facing the river. From the hotel it is easy to reach the ancient town as it’s just 5-10 minutes walking. As the old town is really too busy, the location of this hotel in Hoi An was perfect for us as the area is quiet and away from the crowds of tourists. Hoa Vang Riverside Villa is far enough from the noise so you can relax and sleep well without any disturbance.
Service
Hoa Vang Riverside Villa is a nice family run hotel and has very friendly and welcoming staff. We loved the staff that always went 'above and beyond' to help. They were genuinely so excited to help us have a wonderful stay and made us feel right at home. The staff spoke good command English so it was easy to communicate our needs. The hotel arranged a private car to the airport for us and also provided bicycles for getting around the countryside, making everything easy.
Room Price
Hoa Vang Riverside Villa provided amazing value for money and was just down the street from the Hoi An Ancient Town, with the markets, bars and restaurants all within a walking distance.
