Suvarnabhumi Airport

One of the airports in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang) most probably will be the point of your arrival to Thailand as Bangkok is best served by long-haul and full-service carriers. Phuket and Chiang Mai are other possible destinations if you are taking a full-service flight.

If you are arriving from another country in the region, you have much wider selection of the smaller international airports to choose from as they are mostly served by low-cost carriers offering flights around Southeast Asia.

Thailand is the base for seven airlines - THAI international, Bangkok Airways, Thai AirAsia, Thai Smile, Thai Lionair and Nok Air.

Many international full-service carriers fly to Thailand, making it easily reachable destination. All world leading airlines such as Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, ANA, Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, EVA Air, Qantas Airways, Lufthansa, Air France and many others serve Bangkok so you won't be short of options to choose from. 

The country is well-served by low-cost carriers as well and you can expect to find a very reasonably priced flights virtually from anywhere in Southeast Asia.
