Inle Lake

Phaung Daw Oo is a pagoda located in one of the floating villages on Inle Lake. The main building of the pagoda is really beautiful and made in traditional Burmese style.

The pagoda houses 5 sacred Buddha Images that are covered in many layers of gold making them look like golden stones.

Aung Mingalar Pagoda

Aung Mingalar Pagoda is another temple on Inle Lake located in the lakeside village.

In the temple complex a big number of white stupas can be found.

Inle Lake is also famous for its traditional works, one of them is making cigars from local plant and tobacco.
