Thai Style Roti: พาไปกินโรตีป้าหนอม นครศรีฯ

Roti is similar to a crispy pancake and is a sweet snack that is pan fried and then usually topped with sweetened condensed milk and sugar, but also great with chocolate sauce, banana, and anything sweet.

In Southern Thailand, roti is also served alongside curry, especially for breakfast. Rotis are highly addictive, so if you are on a diet, please move on to other recipes.

This is Roti Phanom - roti restaurant in Nakhon Si Thammarat. There are many branches that can be found around the town. They make all sorts of delicious rotis.

This is a dish that we have ordered - instant noodles with egg. At first, we thought that they will only bring instant noodles with eggs but there were other side dishes such as sausages, crab sticks.  Another dish is soft-boiled egg served in a cup.

Roti that we regularly order is Banana Roti with egg and banana inside topped with condensed milk all over the plate. It is very delicious.

This is just a normal roti without any topping. It is crispy and tastes sweet because of the condensed milk.
