Local Train from Makati to Manila Ninoy Aquino Airport Terminal 3

One of the cheapest ways to get from Makati and other central areas of the Philippines' capital to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 is by taking local train – PNR Commuter Express.

There are few PNR stations in Makati area like Vito Cruz Station, Buendia Station or Dela Rosa Station, Pasay Road Station.

We were taking a train from Dela Rosa Station which is conveniently located near Cash & Carry Mall, just on the other side of the road from this famous shopping mall.

Ticket Fare

The train ticket fare from PNR Dela Rosa Station to the airport is 12 PHP for an ordinary train and 15 PHP for an air-con train.

You need to buy a ticket at ticket counter of train station before boarding the train.

PNR Commuter Train Station near Airport

The nearest to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 PNR Commuter Train station is Nichols. The distance between Dela Rosa Station and Nichols Station is about 5.5 km with only 2 stops between them so it won’t take long, just about 12 minutes.

However, the trip by an ordinary train in Manila can be really hot and sweaty, especially during peak times.

From PNR Nichols Station to NAIA Terminal 3

The distance between PNR Nichols Station and NAIA Terminal 3 is about 2.5 km. You can walk from PNR Nichols Station to the airport in about half hour or take a jeepney for few pesos on the way.

Just get to Runway Manila shopping mall and cross the road by the footbridge leading to NAIA Terminal 3.
