Ticket fare for a ferry from the airport to Male depends on the time of the day and the amount of luggage you have.

Male Airport ferry ticket from 06:00 am to midnight costs 10 Rufiya per person.

Male Airport ferry ticket from midnight to 06:00 am costs 20 Rufiya per person.

Every passenger can carry up to 3 pieces of luggage for free and needs to purchase a luggage ticker for each extra piece of luggage. Luggage ticket costs 10 Rufiya per piece.

From 06:00 am to midnight - ferry leaves every 10 minutes or when it gets full.

From midnight to 01:00 am - ferry leaves every 15 minutes or when it gets full.

From 01:00 am to 04:00 am - ferry leaves every 30 minutes or when it gets full.

From 04:00 am to 06:00 am - ferry leaves every 15 minutes or when it gets full.

The ferry pier of Velana International Airport is located just outside the airport. You will notice the pier nearby the ferry ticket counter. Ferries running between the airport and Male look like the ferry in the picture below.

A trip by the ferry from the airport to Male takes about 10 minutes. The airport ferry pier in Male is located near Hulhumale' Ferry Terminal (not inside).

When going back to the airport, just look for the ticket counter booth which is located right on the street near the pier.

The ticket fare for the ferry from Male to the airport is the same - 10 Rufiya from 06:00 am to midnight and 20 Rufiya from midnight to 06:00 am.
