Our Room
We booked a Deluxe Family Room at Ori Hotel. We got a room on the 2nd floor and our room was very spacious and comfortable, we feel like at home. We’ve got a room with a big balcony and 2 double beds that were extremely soft.
The room was air conditioned and well equipped. The room and facilities in general were very clean and fresh. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained as well.
Wi-Fi, however, went down several times.
Breakfast
The breakfast was not provided at the hotel but there is a public kitchen in the hotel so you can cook food for yourself at any time.
Location
Ori Hotel in Phu Quoc is situated on the small street away from the main road. There was no construction around so it was really quiet. Although the hotel is not next to the beach, you can easily walk there within 10-15 minutes.
Long Beach is the nearest beach which is quite clean if compared to the beaches near the town center. We appreciated this as the area felt more reserved and quite.
There are also restaurants, cafes, fruit and vegetable stalls, pharmacies along the street selling goods at reasonable prices. The hotel is ideally located between the northern and southern parts of the island for daytrips.
If you would like to go to Phu Quoc Night Market in the city center or the furthest beaches in other parts of the island, you will need to take a taxi or rent a motorbike. The taxi should cost around 60,000 VND for the trip to the city. Ori Hotel is close enough to the airport as well.
Service
The staff was extremely hospitable and always available for assistance even if they didn’t speak much English. They were happy to assist with a smile. They can arrange an excursion and also motorbike rental to visit the area and other beaches. The hotel also provided beach towels at the lobby.
Room Price
The room price at Ori Hotel starts from 360,000 VND per night only so we weren’t expecting too much considering the price. However, everything was very pleasant for the price.

Ori Hotel is simply nice hotel offering a great value for money for budget travelers. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything matched the photos found on the website. The location was pretty good and it was close enough to the beach. The staff was helpful and we would be happy to stay there again.
